LBDS runs successful inaugural Alcohol School Concise in Asia

The Ethanol Technology Institute recently completed its first Asian Alcohol School in Bangkok, Thailand. Attendance was higher than originally expected. There were approximately 100 delegates were in attendance which included the countries of Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, India, Australia, and Singapore along with two attendees from the US!

The school deviated from the typical Alcohol School Programs by addressing region specific feedstocks and process technologies. The presentations covered the process from intake through to distillation and dryhouse.  In addition to the general sessions, for the first time, there was a breakout session that addressed topics specific to Lignocellulosic (2nd Generation Ethanol) along with both Distilled Beverages and 1st Generation Fuel Alcohol topics as well.
